Waldorf University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). HLC is the regional accrediting agency for colleges and universities located in the midwest region of the United States. In addition, Waldorf holds membership in the Council of Higher Education Accreditation.

The Higher Learning Commission is one of six agencies in the United States that provide institutional accreditation for higher education. They provide institutional accreditation on a regional basis, evaluating an entire institution and accrediting it as a whole. Other agencies provide accreditation for specific programs. The Commission accredits institutions of higher education in a 19-state region, and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Integrity Statement: Waldorf University prioritizes ethical behavior in our marketing and outreach efforts and applies the Higher Learning Commission’s Integrity statements to our practices. We publish and communicate information that is comprehensive and detailed, honest and transparent, allowing prospects, applicants, and students to make informed decisions about program selection, understand the student experience, be prepared for all associated costs, and know our post-graduation information.

Our three prospect-facing departments, Marketing, Outreach, and Admissions, work in tandem to ensure ethical and comprehensive communication. Our mission is to prepare these future Warriors for their time with us in school and after they complete their programs, and that all begins with transparent information dissemination through our marketing and advertising.

For our RN to BSN program specifically, we strive to provide clear-cut information about admissions requirements, specifically which states we can admit RNs, the requirement for program applicants to be licensed, and the necessity for students to pass background checks.

Note: Individuals with a specific dispute or grievance with an institution should request the separate Policy on Complaints document from the Commission office. The Higher Learning Commission cannot settle disputes between institutions and individuals. Complaints will not be considered third party comment.

Note: The RN to BSN program at Waldorf University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

Note: All program-specific requirements and disclosures are listed on individual program pages.
